Our Process

We know you wouldn't be calling us if your move was a walk in the park.

That’s why we make it as easy as possible to book your New Orleans area move with us. It’s easy – Just reach out!

We’re happy to drop by and have a look in person to come up with an estimate, but more often than not, sending a list of furniture and the number of boxes is a good place to start. Pictures are helpful, too.

Some helpful tips to ensure a smooth, successful move. Every time.

  • Get an idea, as precisely as you can, of what needs to be moved. Pack everything you can ahead of time or ask us to come early and help prepare.
  • Disassembly and reassembly is often preferable to moving furniture in one piece, especially large items that need to fit in elevators, or ‘bend’ around sharp-angled staircases or door frames.
  • Let us know about back entrances, balcony access etc. and we’ll find the best way to get your stuff safely to their next home.
  • Over-sized and really heavy items are always good to know about ahead of time, but with straps and dollies, we’ll get the job done, We enjoy working smarter rather than harder, but we do whatever it takes to get you taken care of.

Flexible, affordable pricing for any move, large or small

We really are different than most all of the other moving companies.

We do not have a set minimum crew size, a minimum charge, or minimum hours. We’re happy to help on small jobs. We know that most times a mattress is just too big for a car.

For large moves, say 3 bedrooms and up, we do prefer using a crew of 3 or 4 people. It really helps keep the tempo up, and we believe it saves you money overall.

On smaller moves, we can arrive with a single driver, but we work in pairs unless the request is specifically for just a truck and driver (and that’s perfectly fine).

The right equipment for any size move

We have several equipment setups to handle any move small or large.

Our pick-up truck (with a flatbed trailer when needed) is the only vehicle that can make it into most parking garages in the city (like the Saulet apartments and similar locations).

Our Sprinter van is our preferred moving vehicle, being closed in and not as dependent on clear skies (loading and unloading in rain, unless under a covered driveway or similar is never recommended).

For large moves, we have a box truck in our own lineup. Beyond that, U-haul’s 26 ft trucks are the way to go. But sometimes doing a second trip is quicker and more cost-effective for you than packing everything up for a single drive, on short in-town moves.

You can trust that we’ll find the right setup for your particular move, but rest assured, we have the right equipment for any move, small or large.
